The Dead Rise At Your Command

Nightblades are opportunists with a gift for getting in and out of trouble. They rely on stealth and speed to dominate the battlefield. These shadow agents thrive on conflict and chaos, trusting their luck and cunning to survive. The Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves Guild won't directly aid your prowess in combat, but their members will welcome you with open arms.

As with every class in Elder Scrolls Online, Nightblades are excellent in any role.

A damage-dealing Necromancer is a spellcaster of grim and terrible power. Find a destruction staff and some powerful light armor. Focus your ability points on Magicka, and your skill points in the Grave Lord and Destruction skill lines to devastate your foes.

Necromancers seeking to tank for a group will find open arms. Diversify your ability points to survive terrible attacks.

Your skill points should find purchase in the Living Death and Bone Tyrant lines, where the cold certainty of the grave will allow you to shrug off blows that would slay a lesser mortal.

Paradoxically, death-obsessed Necromancers are excellent at maintaining the health of an adventuring party.

Pairing the healing skills of the Restoration line and those of the Living Death line will allow you to hold fast your allies from the sweet release of the grave.

Getting Started

Even the glorious, sunshine-soaked island of High Isle is a great place for a Necromancer to start their journey.

Head to ABHAIN CHAPEL, northeast of Gonfanlon Bay, if you want to go crypt diving, and look out for the quest THE MISSING PROWER if you want a SKULLTOOTH JACKET to go with your dark, cool vibes.
